Full Description
Two sets of anti-tank blocks are positioned close to Thurnham Castle in Castle Hill. The first is on the west side of the lane, west of the castle. The other is on the east side of the road, south east of the castle. Both now prevent access to open countryside, presumably to prevent dumping. Both sets have presumably been removed from their original locations which would probably have been part of the defences of Detling Airfield.(1)
