Monument record TQ 73 SW 18 - Probable prospect mound offering views over Bedgebury Estate and Bewl Valley

Summary

A large mound exists to the north of a small reservoir east of the radio tower at Windy Ridge. It is ovoid in form, measuring 42 m north-south and 34 m east-west. It stands 4 m high. Local rumour had it that it was a burial mound of a prince.
