Monument record TR 35 NW 882 - Denehole 50m south of Woodnesborough Church

Summary

A shaft was found during corn cutting in 1978 that seemed to be an abortive denehole. The shaft was c. 3m deep and widened out at the bottom to c. 3m. No chalk was found and the shaft was abandoned.
