Monument record TQ 66 SW 50 - Trottiscliffe Reservoir and Pumping Station
Summary
A reservoir existed in Trottiscliffe and can be seen on 3rd and 4th edition OS maps. A pumping station was constructed by Mid Kent Water and opened in June 1929. It consisted of a sand trap, 3 engines and a pump.
Two engine minder's cottages were built nearby. The works are still in use.
