Full Description
Second World War hexagonal Type 27 Air Ministry design pillbox, one of several defending Detling Airfield. The pillbox, which is believed to be badly damaged, is connected to another (TQ 85 NW 135) by 21 anti-tank rails.(1) Believed to be in good condition
A 2024 survey described the site "Concrete construction with six machine gun embrasures. In good condition from what could be observed from the boundary fence "(2)
