Second World War Type 28 anti-tank pillbox, defending north bank of the river Medway and Barming Bridge. Not seen on ground. (1). Visible in 2018

Described as 'gun emplacement' [type 28?].

Type 28 anti-tank gun emplacement. Very overgrown. Embrasure looks towards Barming Bridge over the River Medway. E of Teston, off Rectory Lane, East Barming - close to the railway line. (3)
