A concrete-faced type 24 Second World War pillbox exists at Hampstead Sports Club. The pillbox is part of the GHQ defence line and defends the river against attack from the east.(1)
Examined from a distance during a 2025 Maidstone Borough survey of 20th century survey and believed to be type 28A. (2)
