Summary
In April 2005 the Lenham Archaeological Society carried out a fieldwalking programme at 'Clay Pits', north of Lenham Heath Road where a series of soil marks had been observed. The fieldwalking recovered more than 30 worked flints and 22 fragments of Neolithic or Bronze Age pottery plus a number of pieces of undated kiln
