Findspot record TR 05 SE 14 - Palaeolithic handaxe, surface find at Chilham
Summary
A Palaeolithic flint implement of uncertain date was reportedly found in the later 19th century on the surface at Chilham, about a quarter of a mile from the river. Present whereabouts uncertain, although this find is possibly the same one as that from Chilham in Canterbury Museum [TR 05 SE 16] which lacks any provenance info.
