Monument record TR 06 NW 14 - Salt mound, Isle of Harty

Summary

This is one of a group of three earth mounds on the Harty Marshes. These mounds are the remains of salt workings and are thought to be medieval. The Isles of Harty and Sheppey contain a large number of such mounds, and some have been excavated at Seasalter.
