Monument record TR 06 NW 20 - Salt mound, Isle of Harty, Leysdown

Summary

This earth mound on the Harty Marshes represents the remains of medieval salt working. A large number of such mounds are found in the salt water creeks of the Isles of Sheppey and Harty and also at Seasalter.
