Full Description
A Roman cemetery was found in excavating at the gravel pits between Davington Hill and Bysing Wood, Faversham. (1) No further information. Enquiries of late members of Faversham Historical Society (defunct since 1956) were negative. The whole areabetween Davington Hill and Bysing Wood (TR 00 61) has been worked for gravel. (2)
