Full Description
Second World War fire trench at the junction of Hog's Lane with Coldharbour Road, Northfleet, probably dating from 1940 and likley to have decommissioned by 1943/4. It was observed by the writer in 1962 as an angled semi-filled slit trench in a grass verge at the side of Hog's Lane, and facing south. It was probably part of a Home Guard defended location thought to have existed in the vicinity. The fire trench no longer exists.
