Full Description
Second World War balloon barrage site in a once-existing field south of Lower Stonebridge Road, Northfleet. This formed part of a network of similar ground-based anti-aircraft defences. No trace of its tethering fixtures exist. The site is now overbuilt by a petrol station. The nominal dates for establishment, disuse and removal are 1940 and 1945.
