Full Description
First World War Voluntary Aid Detachment Hospital adapated from the riverside Thames Yacht Club, formerly Pallister's Hotel, on the Undershore, Northfleet. This was overspill accommodation manned by doctors and auxiliary nurses for patients from the services who could not be accommodated and treated elsewhere. No details of the adapation are known. The Club was demolished in 1938 and is now the site of a Halfords store.
