Full Description
Second World War Defended Locality DL41 at the Northfleet Cement Factory, Northfleet. It was probably designated in 1940. The nature and location of the defences are unknown by the garrison was 72 Home Guard, with 23 rifles, 2 Browning Automatic Rifles and 2 Browning Machine guns. The Defended Location would probably not only have related to the factory but to defending the nearby riverline. The Defended Location would have been decommissioned by early 1944. There are no remains.
