Full Description
Second World War Battle Headquarters for Defended Locality DL48 at Grove House, Grove Road, Northfleet. This utilised an earlier Territorial Army drill hall and formed part of the anti-invasion defences. It would have originated in 1940 and would have been decommissioned by early in 1944. Grove House was demolished c. 1965.
