Full Description
Second World War Battle Headquarters for Defended Locality DL31, at the Pepper Hill electricity sub-station, Northfleet. This controlled the defence of the sub-station and the access north along the flanking railway track to the west and Pepper Hill road to the east. This was part of the anti-invasion defences and would have involved adapted use of a building within the sub-station or a new structure. It would have been decommissioned by early 1944. There are no known remains.
