Full Description

Second World War surface public air raid shelter for 54 people at 15 London Road, Northfleet. The design is unknown but it was likely to have been a brick structure with a flat concrete roof. It formed part of the general public provision for air raid shelter protection. It would have bee decommissioned by the end of the Second World War in Europe in 1945 and demolished by 1946. A modern block of flats occupies the site.
