Full Description

Second World War war emergency police telephone box at the cemetery gates in Old Road West, Gravesend. Probably positioned in 1940 and as part of the reporting and communication chain for civil defence. Its design and form are unknown but it would have been a standard type. It would have been decommissioned for war emergency purposes by the end of the Second World War in Europe in 1945 and probably removed by 1946.
