Second World War sandbagged position in a former field a few m. SE of The Maltings, Lower Higham Road, Chalk. Thought to have been about 10 m long and said to have been military-defensive in general purpose but of unknown date origin and longevity, it would have been removed by no later than 1945. The site is now covered by the car park of the NW Kent College of Technology.
