Full Description
Second World War public air raid shelter at 39 Dover Road, Northfleet (now a social club). Its form, design and capacity are unknown. It may have been in the basement of the building. If so, this would have been strengthened by timber strutting. It is likely to have originated by no later than 1940 and to have been decommissioned by the end of the Second World War in Europe in 1945. The building survives.
