Full Description
Second World War position for an anti-aircraft searchlight on a grassy knoll (a mill mound?) about 60 m west of Mill House, Shorne. This was part of a network of searchlight positions, elements of the infrastructure of anti-aircraft defence. Its date of construction and removal are unknown. There are no traces surviving.
