Full Description

Cold War Royal Observer Corps post in a field south of The Street at Cobham. Built in 1953, it consisted of a 3 x 2 m concrete box elevated 1.4 m above the ground on concrete legs, with a closed section and an open section in which observers stood to spot and report incoming hostile aircraft. It was decommissioned in 1956 and subsequently demolished.
