Full Description
Second World War Police Telephone Box within the angle formed by the junction of Lower Higham Road and Rochester Road at Chalk, Nr. Gravesend. It was integrated into the telephone system for civil defence purposes. Its design is unknown but was probably one of a number of standard designs. Erected around 1939 and probably decommissioned for war emergency purposes at about the end of the Second World War in Europe in 1945. It no longer exists.
