Full Description
Second World War Police Telephone Box within the angle formed by the junction of Cornwell Avenue and Whitehill Road, Gravesend. This war emergency box was integrated into the civil defence reporting system for Gravesend. Its design is unknown but was probably one of a number of standard types. It was probably erected in 1939, to be decommissioned for war purposes in 1945 and removed in 1946.
