Summary

Second World War air raid air raid wardens post on the west side of Windmill Street, Gravesend. It occupied rooms within a 1930s Welfare Centre. It was one of a network of such posts to serve Gravesend. It originated in 1939 and would have been decommissioned in 1945. The Welfare Centre was demolished c. 1960.
