Summary

Second World War air raid wardens post on the south side of Rochester Road, Gravesend, next to the entrance to the later St. John's School. Of rectangular plan, built of brick with a flat concrete roof, it probably originated in 1940, as part of a network of such posts serving Gravesend, to be decommissioned in 1945 and demolished in 2003.
