Full Description
Second World War British Restaurant (part of the wider civil defence potential emergency feeding asset) established in February, 1942 within the then Sturges British School, a flint building with a slate roof, on the north side of the High Street, Northfleet. It would have been decommisioned for war purposes in 1945 and the school building was demolished c. 1965. The side is now a roadside verge.
