Full Description
Second World War emergency water tank for civil defence purposes on the northern edge of the North Kent Cricket Club ground in Traflagar Road, Gravesend. This was one of a network of emergency water supplies to supplement the water mains in the event of heavy usage for fire fighting following an air raid Of uncertain design it may have originated in 1939 and would have been discontinued by 1945 and removed shortly after.
