Summary

Second Woprld War surface air raid shelter, built c. 1940, in the rear playground of Cobham Primary School, The Street, Cobham, for the protection of the pupils. It was rectangular (14 m x 4 m), constructed of brick with a flat concrete roof. It contained a single shelter room with an airlock entrance at either end. It was discontinued in 1945 and was demolished in 2005.
