Summary

Second World War surface air raid shelter built c. 1940 in the rear playground of Cobham Primary School, The Street, Cobham, for the protection of the pupils. It is rectangular (14m x 4 m), constructed of brick and has a flat concrete roof. There is a single shelter room, with an airlock at either end. It was discontinued in 1945 but is still in use as a school store.
