Summary

Second World War public air raid shelter in the parking or garden area of the Pelham Arms public house, situated on the south angle of the junction of Old Road West, with Perry Street, Gravesend. It appears to have been a brick surface shelter with a flat concrete roof, of unknown capacity. It probably originated in 1939/40 and lasted in use until 1945, to be demolished in 1946. No other information is known.
