Summary

Underground Second World War garden air raid shelter at 6 Springhead Road, Northfleet. The completely buried shelter room is about 2.3 m x 1.5 m, built of brick with a concrete roof, and is accessed from a brick entrance canopy. The shelter was probably built in 1939 and discontinued for air raid precautions purposes in 1945.
