Full Description
Second World War Emergency Water Tank located at what is now the southern boundary of the playing field of St. Botolph's School, on the north side of Dover Road, Northfleet, Kent. It was of unknown form and capacity and formed part of a newtork of such tanks to provide an emergency supply in the event of the water main not being able to meet demand to put out fires caused by an air raid. It was probably established by 1940 and decommissioned in 1945. No trace remains.
