Camp D of the Wrotham (Vigo) Second World War Pre-Officer Cadet Training Unit, Vigo Village, Trosley, near Wrotham, Kent, one of 5 camps (see sites 10290-1 and 3) established from the summer of 1942 for all officer candidates prior to their attendance at Officer Training Units for their selected or chosen corps. The camp consisted of training and accommodation huts and vehicle parks, with roads linking with outlying practical training areas. The camp was abandoned in 1946, occupied afterwards by the homeless, demolished in 1955 and subsequently overbuilt by new housing.
