Full Description
This Battery consised of three gun emplacements with overhead cover. The magazines were deep underground behind the gun emplacement with lifts to supply the ammunition. There were engine rooms and a camp site near by with observation post on the cliff edge. The Battery Plotting room and Fortress Plotting Room were in the valley between the battery and the cliffs. Also near by was a deep shelter. All that remains to be seen of this battery some concrete roads, the top of one ammunition lift and the observation post on the cliffs. The guns were installed in August 1942 and were probably remover soon after the end of the Second World War

Coast defence battery. Much of site buried by spoil from 1970's Channel Tunnel attempt. Ammunition site seems to survive above ground. Many concrete hut bases buried/destroyed during construction of new A20. Plotting room is just to S. of A20.
