Full Description

This pillbox is built of concrete with brick shuttering. Originally with normal loopholes and lower loopholes for Boy's Anti-tank rifles. At a later date three sides of the pillbox have been strengthend to twice the wall thickness and the lower loopholes have been blocked up.

Type 24 pillbox, with additional strengthening.

Brick-shuttered type 24 pillbox. Its front walls have had a brick wall built in front of them and the space between the wall and the pillbox filled with concrete.
