Full Description
Length of anti-tank wall along the Kingsdown Road from Hawkshill Road to the castle boundry. The wall is constructed in concrete and is built against the garden wall which is still there behind the concrete wall.

Anti-tank wall defending beach at Walmer.
Concrete anti-tank wall built against original garden wall which is still behind the military wall. Wall starts on S side of footpath on S side of Walmer Castle, and runs S to garden gate to house ('Waterfront') and Hawkshill Road. Just to the S of this are girders set in the ground to form an anti-tank barrier.
Garden wall strengthened as anti-tank obstacle. WW2 anti-tank wall on Kingsdown Rd. A garden wall heavily 'beefed up'. Made of concrete and in good condition. Kingsdown Road (B2057), near Walmer Castle. (1,2)
