Square pillbox with overhanging roof slab, letter A painted beside entrance (may be original). Excellent condition, unusual embrasure sills (sloped).
Pillbox of common Dover type - square with over-hanging roof slab and 2 embrasures per side. Brick-shuttered.Pillbox of common Dover type - square with overhanging roof slab and two embrasures per side. Built of brick shuttered concrete and in good condition. Square pillbox with overhanging roof slab. It has unusual sloped embrasure sills. Letter A painted beside entrance [may be original]. In excellent condition. [This site appears to have two SMR entries and references - see 'Designation']. Pillbox (Sector 5). Cassini ref 733586. Coney Hill, just inside wood N of Farthingloe Farm, Farthingloe. (1)
