Type 28 anti-tank gun pillbox..Unusually for Medway area, the gun inside was mounted on a pedestal instead of the more usual concrete block and holdfast. Designed to mount a 2-pr. or 6-pr. gun. Bottom of pedestal still in place. On breastwork of Chatham Lines behind NAAFI stores. (1)
