This feature is mentioned in the English Heritage report on the Second World Stop Line in the Hoo Peninsula, part of the wider Hoo Peninsula study. The report states: "Second World War reinforced concrete Type 24 pillbox, constructed at the edge of a First World War redoubt (NRHE 1546157). The pillbox is a narrow wall version with a brick skin. The pillbox would have provided protection for the depot, and is also an element within the supporting defences of the stop line. Visible on 2013 Google Earth aerial photopgrahs, within the southern half of a First World War redoubt. The pillbox was seen during a site visit in May 2015, within the substantiial redoubt earthwork. The door and embrasures are blocked." (2)
