Summary

Good condition type 24 pillbox. Forming part of Hoo stop line (GHQ line) anti invasion defences 1940. Facing east. Summary from record TQ 77 SE 112: A concrete, type 24, World War II Pillbox facing east at Lodge Hill Ammunition Depot, High Halstow. The pillbox is a 'Narrow wall version with a brick skin' and its doors and loopholes are now blocked. It was part of the defences of the Lodge Hill Magazine.
