Poor condition (roof blown in) type 28A anti tank pillbox with bolt ring in place. Forming part of Hoo stop line (GHQ line) anti invasion defences 1940. Facing north west. Summary from record TQ 77 SE 106: A concrete type 28 World War II Anti-Tank Pillbox. West facing with a partially destroyed roof. The pillbox was part of the defences of the Lodge Hill Magazine.
