Good condition type 28A anti tank pillbox, embrasures sealed. Forming part of Hoo stop line (GHQ line) anti invasion defences 1940. Facing south east. Summary from record TQ 77 SE 108: A concrete type 28 World War II Anti-Tank Pillbox. East facing, the entrance and the gunport are blocked. The pillbox was part of the defences of the Lodge Hill Magazine.
