Concrete pillbox with brick shuttering. Type 24 brick-shuttered pillbox facing S. In sound condition. By roadside, Hoo Marina. (1)
This pillbox, which is situated circa 30m back form the coast at TQ 7801 7120 can be clearly seen on aerial photographs taken in 1950 but is first seen on air photos taken in May 1942. It was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. (2-3)
