Full Description
This road block was established under a viaduct carrying the railway over a minor road north of Adisham Court. The railway here was part of the Dover, Canterbury, Whitstable Stop Line, and this roadblock was clearly part of the associated defences, preventing enemy vehicles from crossing the railway. It was covered by a pillbox at the junction with Pond Hill to the south. This road block was assigned the number 85 in a list of such structures published 2 December 1940.
