Full Description

This road block was established under a viaduct carrying the Canterbury to Dover Railway over Adisham Road. The railway here was part of the Dover, Canterbury, Whitstable Stop Line, and this was clearly part of the associated defences, preventing enemy vehicles from crossing the railway.
