Monument record TR 15 NE 801 - Second World War Civil Defence warden’s post at 28 Ethelbert Road, Canterbury

Summary

In early 1941 there was a Second World War Civil Defence warden’s post in the garden of 28 Ethelbert Road. In mid February, the house was apparently requisitioned by the military and so the warden’s post here could no longer be used. It seems to have transferred to the garage of 8 Ethelbert Road.
