Full Description
There was a Second World War Civil Defence warden’s post (Post ‘A/1’) at 5 The Forrens in the King’s School (Cathedral Precincts). This seems to have been an ordinary (or ‘Action Warning’) post, only manned on Action Warning. It may have been redundant by 1943, when the designation ‘A/1’ was given to another post.
